What is The Roost?

The Roost is Jacksonville’s premier event venue and concert hall, located at 112 Clinton St SE. We host weddings, university formals, concerts, galas, corporate events, and private celebrations.

What is the capacity?

Our venue can accommodate:

  • Up to ~800 standing for concerts

  • Up to ~300 seated for banquets and receptions

  • Flexible layouts depending on event type

Where is The Roost located?

112 Clinton St SE, Jacksonville, Alabama — right on the square and walkable from Jacksonville State University.


How do I book an event?

Submit an inquiry through our website at theroostjax.com or email book@theroostjax.com. A team member will confirm availability and send booking details.

What is required to reserve my date?

A signed rental agreement and a non-refundable deposit (amount varies by event type) are required to lock in your date.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept ACH/bank payments, check, and cash.

When is my full balance due?

Final payment is typically due 10 days before the event unless otherwise stated in your agreement.

HOURS, ACCESS & SETUP

How many hours are included with my rental?

Each rental includes a specific number of hours depending on the package (weekday, weekend, or all-day wedding package). Extended time is available for an additional fee.

Can we set up the day before?

Only if the date is not booked and with prior approval. Additional fees may apply.

Who sets up tables and chairs?

We will provide chair carts and table carts, and your group is responsible for setup and teardown unless your package states otherwise.

When can vendors access the venue?


Vendors may access the venue during your contracted rental window.

ALCOHOL, SECURITY & SAFETY

Can we serve alcohol?

Yes. All alcohol must be provided and served by The Apothecary, our exclusive alcohol partner.
Outside alcohol is not permitted.

Is security required?
