How it works: half your minimum is due at booking and becomes bar credit for your table that night (non-refundable inside 48 hours). A card stays securely on file — if your section's tab lands under the minimum at close, the difference is charged to it, exactly as agreed at booking. Your group can pay individually all night; anything rung to your section's tab counts. Bottle menus and pricing are presented at your table. Smoking (premium cigars) is permitted in The Suite only, per venue smoking policy. Launch pricing — minimums may rise on high-demand nights. Admission, age, and dress policies are posted at the door and on Instagram.

Want the whole room first?
Book a private event from 3 to 10 PM — formal, birthday, reception, corporate — and when the doors open, your party is already inside. Your guests get wristbanded during the event (up to 100 with evening windows, 150 with day buyouts): a band means they stay, or leave and come back all night without cover. VIP sections reservable for your group. For select large events, full-night takeovers are available by inquiry.

How do VIP reservations work?
Each section carries a minimum spend for the night — $250 for a lounge section, $600 for The Suite (launch pricing). Half is due at booking and becomes bar credit on your tab; a card stays on file for the balance. Everything your section orders counts toward the minimum, and if the tab lands short at close, the difference goes to the card on file. Arrive by 11 PM or the section may be released.
Can I smoke in The Suite?
The Suite is the venue's only smoking-capable space — premium cigars are available up there overlooking the stage. The main floor and lounge sections are non-smoking.
How big a group fits in a section?
Lounge sections seat 8 comfortably. The Suite seats 12 and can host up to 20. Bigger group? Reserve two sections side by side, or ask about the suite + section combos.
What does bottle service cost? Can we split the bill?
Bottle menus and pricing are presented at your table and vary by night. Your group can absolutely pay individually — anything rung to your section's tab (bottles, drinks, cigars in The Suite) counts toward your minimum. The booking deposit is already credit toward that spend, so most tables clear the minimum without thinking about it.
Is there a cover?
Door cover varies by night and event — follow @roostevents for lineups and specials. VIP parties get line-skip entry. Guests wristbanded at that day's private event don't pay cover — a band is good for entry and re-entry all night, as long as it's on your wrist.
Can I rent the whole venue for a private night?
Full-night takeovers of Friday or Saturday are possible for select large events, by inquiry only — email book@theroostjax.com. Private events (until 2 AM Sunday–Wednesday) and daytime/evening windows are on the pricing page.
