Every section works the same simple way - a flat reservation fee holds it and covers admission for its seats, and a bottle minimum is ordered at your table when you arrive. Nothing to reconcile at the end of the night.

How it works: the reservation fee plus sales tax is paid online and holds your section for the night - it is not a bar credit. Your bottle minimum is chosen from our bottle menu and rung at your table when you arrive (pick your bottles ahead of time from your confirmation link so they are waiting). A 20% service charge is added to bottle and bar tabs; it goes to your servers. The fee includes admission for your section's seats; extra guests pay cover at the door. The reservation fee is non-refundable within 48 hours of the night, and your section is held until 11 PM. Bottle prices, reservation fees and bottle minimums are subject to change and can rise on high-demand nights - the price shown on the reservations page for your night is the price. More sections are on the way: three additional sections and The Suite bring the room to about 10 sections on the biggest nights. Want the whole room first?
Book a private event from 3 to 10 PM - formal, birthday, reception, corporate - and when the doors open, your party is already inside. Your guests get wristbanded during the event (up to 100 with evening windows, 150 with day buyouts): a band means they stay, or leave and come back all night without cover. VIP sections reservable for your group. For select large events, full-night takeovers are available by inquiry.

How do VIP reservations work?
Two parts. A flat reservation fee, paid online, holds your section for the night and includes admission for its seats - from $100 for a lounge section and $200 for The Stage, plus sales tax. Then a bottle minimum, chosen from our bottle menu, is charged at your table when you arrive - 2 bottles for a lounge section, 4 for The Stage. A 20% service charge is added to bottle and bar tabs. Bottle prices, fees and minimums are subject to change and may be higher on big nights; what you see on the reservations page for your night is what you pay. Arrive by 11 PM or the section may be released.
How big a group fits in a section? How many sections are there?
Lounge sections seat 8 comfortably. The Stage seats up to 20, the largest section in the building. Three more sections and The Suite are being added, so on the biggest nights there are about 10 sections available, depending on the night and event. Bigger group than a section holds? Reserve two sections side by side, or take The Stage and a lounge together.
What does bottle service cost? Can we split the bill?
Bottle prices are on the menu at your table and on your confirmation link, and they vary by bottle and by night. The bottle minimum is charged at the table when you arrive; after that your group can pay individually all night. A 20% service charge is added to bottle and bar tabs. The reservation fee is separate - it is not a credit toward bottles.
Is there a cover?
Door cover varies by night and event - follow @theroost_jax for lineups and specials. VIP parties get Priority Entry. Guests wristbanded at that day's private event don't pay cover - a band is good for entry and re-entry all night, as long as it's on your wrist.
Can I rent the whole venue for a private night?
